Role Description:
Modeller: for new product introduction and product change tasks. The role would report to the Head of IT.

The modelling activities are at this moment conducted in Germany by the mother company.

Tasks:
The job includes

  • helping the design phase of the development projects by sharing information about the possibilities and limitations of technical modelling and price calculation
  • configuration of the price calculation model,
  • configuration of the portfolio system

The task is to take part in IT development projects, error corrections as the responsible person of implementing the defined product and price models. Creation of smaller specification, cooperation with the system developers, planning and conducting the testing is also part of the tasks.

Experience:
IT development experience
Understanding and working experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle)
Fluency in English (German is advantage)
Preferably an education from a technical university

Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent communication

Error manager

Role Description:
The error manager facilitates the reported bug fixing by MKBB's developers and is the IT Host of some of the MKBB business departments to support their development requirements. The role would report to the Head of IT.

Tasks:
The Error manager task includes first level system support and user management for both internal and external users. Operating the helpdesk by processing errors and when required ensure entry of appropriate information in our tracking software. Coordinating the priorisation of the error correction by gathering feedback of the impacted users. Providing technical trainings to the users (mainly external). Developing the helpdesk processes and tools forward.

The IT Host task would be to coordinate the requirement side, ensure that the requirements are defined in a clear manner, discuss the development solutions with the development partners (and sometimes with the outsourcing partners), coordinate the open questions during the development, support the test manager with the test preparation, and ensure that the roll-out is prepared.

Experience:
Fluency in English (German is advantage)
Preferably an education from a technical collage or university.

Senior Project Manager

Role Description:
Project management for projects related to IT development. The role would report directly to the CIO/COO but will work intensively together with the Head of IT.

Tasks:
The job would be to manage IT development but also business development projects which will in a later stage lead to IT developments. Generally we have multiple parallel smaller projects that needs to be managed - but also sometimes major business development projects that acquires more time to manage.

The task would be to coordinate the requirement side, ensure that the requirements are defined in a clear manner, discuss the development solutions with the development partners (and sometimes with the outsourcing partners), coordinate the open questions during the development, support the test manager with the test preparation, ensure that the roll-out is prepared.

Experience:
At least 5 years of experience of IT development projects within insurance industry.
Preferably an education from a technical university.
Fluent English (both speaking and writing)
German skills additionally is appreciated

Personality:
Needs to be able to coordinate managers and ensure MKBB's position when negotiating with the development partners

Team Lead Correspondence

Role/Tasks:

  • Reports to the Head of Treaty Administration
  • Deputy of Head of Treaty Administration
  • Part of the TOM management team and the extended management team of COO
  • Responsible for ensuring that all SLA's are kept within Treaty administration correspondence
  • Responsible for analysing the workload of the team and discussing overflow management with the team lead phone and Head of Treaty Administration
  • Organisation of the work of the treaty administration correspondence team Manage the tasks queues (in case of wrong categorisation and in case the tasks are locked)
  • Ensuring that the team receive the adequate training and are developed forward
  • Active part of process optimisation activities and make improvement plans and conceptions connecting to workflow/workload of Treaty administration Correspondence
  • At least for 50% of the working hours: handle administration
  • tasks, handle the escalated cases and complaints, testing
  • track the performance of the administrators, back up the colleagues

Requirements:

  • Well organized person who likes to take responsibility
  • Needs to be a team played being able to coordinate the work of the team
  • Needs to be able to drive things forward individually (following the priorities set by Head of Treaty Administration/TOM management)
  • English (at least on basic level) in speaking and reading, however, the skills do not need to be perfect
  • Needs to have at least 3  years of experience within treaty administration
  • Leader skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and the insurance systems
